Angel Tree memorializes lost loved ones

For the eighth year, Not One More Alabama (NOMA) is participating in the annual Tinsel Trail with its iconic Angel Tree that memorializes those who have died as a result of alcohol, substance use disorder or accidental overdose.
The 2024 Tinsel Trail is open until December 31, 2024 at Big Spring Park in downtown Huntsville. It is one of the region's most popular tourist destinations during the holidays. Local businesses, organizations, groups and families sponsor and decorate live Christmas trees that are displayed along the beautiful and historic Big Spring Park.
Each year NOMA's flagship Angel Tree is one of the largest on Tinsel Trail and is adorned by beautiful faces of loved ones lost to overdose or addiction. It is our mission to provide families with an opportunity to memorialize the life of a family member taken by this epidemic. It is our hope that the tree will stand as a reminder that addiction crosses all barriers and impacts everyone. The Angel Tree is visited by hundreds of people during the holidays and provides a place of comfort for families to honor and remember their loved one.
We also provide a memorial page on this website and accept submissions year-round from immediate family members. Please click on the button below if you would like your loved one to be included on the NOMA Memorial Page.
Each year, NOMA hosts a Candlelight Memorial Service for those who have lost loved-ones. This year's service will be on Tuesday, December 10th beginning at 6 p.m. Please sign up to receive emails from NOMA to insure you are informed about this and other important dates. You can find the form on our home page at: NotOneMoreAlabama.org
Please note: Due to privacy standards, only immediate family members (spouse, children, parents, grandparents and siblings) of the individual being remembered are permitted to have a photo on the tree or request a photo on the memorial page.
