End Addiction HSV is more than a walk.
- It is an opportunity for people to connect with resources and other individuals who have lived similar experiences.
- It is a place for families to remember loved-ones lost to accidental overdose or addiction. Many bring photos and write messages on a Memorial Wall.
- It is a FREE Community Event. Everyone is invited to join us.
- It is an opportunity to receive FREE NALOXONE and training to use the overdose reversing drug.
Haley Baker's news career spans 15 years in television news and freelance medical journalism. She joined the WAFF 48 team in February 2018.
Her successful career, striking appearance, loving husband and two beautiful children paint a picture-perfect life, however, addiction does not discriminate. It creeps in like a thief and threatens to destroy everything in its path.
Haley regained control of her addiction to alcohol when she took the bold step to ask for help three years ago. We look forward to hearing her story Saturday, August 17th at the End Addiction HSV Walk.

Recovery Circle
Recovery gives us a reason to celebrate and inspires HOPE. The Recovery Circle has become an important, emotional part of the End Addiction Walk. Whether you've been in recovery for 40 years or one day, we will have a coin for you and we will celebrate your sobriety. With each milestone, the circle expands and hope grows for those living or seeking a life in recovery.
Fundraising Teams
The End Addiction HSV Walk is an opportunity for groups to form fundraising teams to raise funds to support the mission of Not One More Alabama (NOMA).
Since 2016, NOMA volunteers have been inspiring hope to the many people impacted by addiction by providing educational programs, fellowship opportunities, resources and support for individuals and their families.
Fundraising teams serve many purposes:
All NOMA Fundraising Teams will be provided with a sign to carry during the End Addiction HSV Walk that identifies them as a Fundraising Team. The team that raises the largest sum will be given the opportunity to lead the walk.
Teams raising $1,000 or more will have the opportunity to share their team story on stage during the walk program. They will also be presented with a special gift to commemorate the End Addiction HSV Walk. (Limited to the first five teams to raise $1,000.)
If you'd like to form an End Addiction Walk Fundraising Team, please complete and submit this GOOGLE FORM and someone from our organization will contact you.

A Look at End Addiction HSV 2023
It was a HOT day in August last year but we all know that addiction does not take a "weather day." So people arrived at Big Spring Park in Huntsville for the 6th Annual End Addiction HSV Walk. We are so grateful for those who support Not One More Alabama and our mission to lift the stigma associated with substance use disorders and provide support for anyone impacted by the disease of addiction.
