Community Education Event Monday, March 23, 2026

Join us for a powerful evening of hope, recovery, and community education.

NOMA is proud to welcome Huntsville native Jared Murray as our guest speaker for this free community event. Jared will share his deeply personal journey from addiction to long term recovery, offering encouragement and insight for individuals, families, and anyone seeking a better understanding of substance use and recovery.

A graduate of Huntsville High School and the University of Alabama, Jared celebrates 13 years of sobriety and is living proof that lives can change. His story reminds us that even those who once seemed lost can rediscover purpose, healing, and hope.

Jared is also the co founder of Common Ground Recovery, a transitional living program in Huntsville where he dedicates his life to helping young adults and their families navigate treatment and build sustainable recovery.
Whether you are personally affected by addiction, supporting a loved one, or simply want to better understand recovery, Jared’s story is one everyone should hear at least once.

Come be inspired and learn how hope and recovery are possible.

This is a free event. No RSVP necessary, however, we would love to hear from you if you intend to come. Just email our Family Services Coordinator: [email protected] or call 256-384-5055.
