Second Annual Jay Barton Invitational Fundraiser for NOMA
Lee and Sally Barton with their daughters, Sarah and Tricia, are hosting The Jay Barton Invitational II at Kiawah Island Golf Resort March 14 - 17, 2024. The first invitational at Pebble Beach, California, was a smashing success so the Bartons immediately started planning another to take place on the East Coast. The goal is to raise money and awareness of the devastating effects of substance use disorders and the ongoing overdose epidemic, and remove the stigma associated with addiction. The Bartons lost their son and brother, Jay, several years ago to the deadly disease and have since become ambassadors for Not One More Alabama. For more information, please visit https://www.jaybartoninvitational.com/ and help us spread the word about this extraordinary opportunity! #JayBartonInvitational

The weather cooperated as people gathered in front of the beautiful Angel Tree on Tinsel Trail for the annual Candlelight Memorial Service December 16th. Each holiday season, the Angel Tree is adorned with images of loved-ones lost to the disease of addiction. It is an opportunity for families to honor the lives of their loved-ones and support others who are also living with loss. It is our hope that the candle flame serves as a source of light in the darkness of grief. Thank you to all who attended.
This year on the holiday Tinsel Trail at Big Spring Park in Huntsville, Not One More Alabama introduced a second flagship tree.
The Tree of Hope, sponsored by Coca-Cola Huntsville, stood as a brilliant example of our strong recovery community. We believe the mission of spreading hope of recovery was accomplished.
114 ornaments representing 746 years of sobriety decorated the tree. Each ornament included the first name and sobriety birth date of someone in our community who submitted a request to be included.
