The Opposite of Addiction is Connection.
Walk with us Saturday, August 13th

Mark Your Calendar for August 13, 2022 and join us at Big Spring Park from 9 - 11 am for the 5th End Addiction HSV Walk!

Together we can raise awareness of the deadly overdose epidemic. The synthetic drug fentanyl has infiltrated our community and killed 1,350 Alabamians at last recording. More than 100,000 Americans were lost in a 12 month period from overdose. Our goal is Not One More overdose. We must erase the shame and stigma associated with addiction and mental illness so that individuals with substance use disorders will reach out for help.

We will honor those lost with a Memorial Wall. The life-saving drug NARCAN will be available again this year. Supplies are limited so please arrive early and look for the NARCAN display.

Not One More Alabama supports all pathways to recovery and we plan to have a diverse group of exhibitors from treatment programs with various addiction treatment modalities. We plan to have recovery organizations and support groups for individuals and families.

We want to spread HOPE of recovery. There are more than 23 million people living in recovery today.  Join us in celebrating recovery with our annual Circle of Hope Recovery Countdown. This is a meaningful portion of the event and you don't want to miss it.
.

Guest Speaker Lauren Sisler

We are excited to announce our guest speaker this year is Multinational Award-Winning Sports Broadcaster for ESPN and the SEC Network Lauren Sisler. Lauren shares how the disease of addiction changed her family forever, and how she learned to unlock the shackles of shame and use her struggles to help someone walk out of the shadows.
