Not One More Alabama along with the Addiction Prevention Coalition hosted our Third Annual End Heroin HSV Walk in Big Spring Park on Saturday,, August 17, 2019. Your participation helped bring awareness to the devastating opioid and related drug epidemic in our country and here in the Tennessee Valley. Through events like End Heroin Huntsville, we can work toward eliminating the stigma associated with addiction, provide support to those impacted by it, celebrate those who have found recovery and remember those who have been lost.
This year included a Recovery Countdown to celebrate those in recovery and give HOPE to those struggling. There has never been a cost to attend the walk although we do accept donations to support the mission of Not One More Alabama (NOMA). As always, we appreciate donations made through this website.
Watch this short video by Birmingham Filmmaker Drew Callner who was inspired to create the following video after attending the walk last year. He captured the spirit of the day as he filmed individuals of all walks of life as they connected with one common goal: To end the stigma associated with addiction and bring awareness to the epidemic that killed more than 70,000 people in 2017. https://youtu.be/jNMH1x9x-Ug

Anyone experiencing the disease of addiction has felt isolated at one time or another. The mission of Not One More Alabama is to lift the stigma associated with substance use disorders and connect people with resources and with EACH OTHER. We cannot emphasize this enough: You are not alone. You are connected.
