NOMA Family Support Group is a group made of families and parent coaches that help to support other families that have a loved one struggling with a substance use disorder. ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS (AA) is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical, and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements. Alanon - In Al-Anon/Alateen, members do not give direction or advice to other members. It was launched 26 years ago by Saddleback Church as a program to help those struggling with hurts, habits and hang-ups by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process. CMC (Center for Motivation & Change Foundation) - Family Mondays: Group Discussions. An ongoing monthly drop-in series for family members of those struggling with problematic substance use. Offered every first Monday of the month for a series of talks which will include discussion of the core elements that research and experience have shown can most effectively influence healthy behavior change in others with a special focus on the topic of the night. Questions and participation is encouraged! Cost is $15 per session and registration is required.
Co-Dependents Anonymous is a program of recovery from co-dependence, where each person may share their experience, strength, and hope in an effort to find freedom where there has been dependence. You can find a meeting on their website. It appears that all meetings are online at this time.
FAMILIES ANONYMOUS is a 12 Step fellowship for the families and friends who have known a feeling of desperation concerning the destructive behavior of someone very near to them, whether caused by drugs, alcohol, or related behavioral problems. When you come into our rooms you are no longer alone, but among friends who have experienced similar problems. Herren Project Support Groups offers an array of different online support groups for families and loved ones who have been affected by addiction. These support groups meet weekly in an online virtual classroom format and are free of charge. All groups are led by licensed clinicians who can offer clinical insight along with insight from other peers.
Nar Anon of Madison - is a 12 step fellowship for anyone who is affected by a loved ones addiction. "We share Experience, Strength, and Hope". NARCOTICS ANONYMOUS (NA) is a nonprofit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem. We are recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean. This is a program of complete abstinence from all drugs. There is only one requirement for membership, the desire to stop using. We suggest that you keep an open mind and give yourself a break. Our program is a set of principles written so simply that we can follow them in our daily lives. The most important thing about them is that they work.
